Keratin Treatments: The Ageless Solution for Women of All Ages
…
As women age, they may notice changes in the health and appearance of their hair. Hair may become thinner, drier, and more prone to breakage. However, there is a solution that can benefit both young and old women: keratin treatments. Keratin treatments can help to restore the health and vitality of your hair, regardless of your age. And with DIY home treatments becoming more affordable than salon treatments, they are increasing in popularity worldwide, especially during the pandemic.
…
Keratin is a natural protein found in our hair, skin, and nails. It is responsible for providing structure and strength to the hair shaft. When we age, the amount of keratin in our hair decreases, leading to weaker, more brittle hair. However, keratin treatments can help to replenish the keratin in our hair, improving its strength and elasticity.
…
Younger women may benefit from keratin treatments to help protect their hair from the daily wear and tear of heat styling and environmental factors. A keratin treatment can help to smooth down the cuticle layer of the hair, reducing frizz and flyaways. This can make it easier to style your hair, reduce the amount of heat styling required, and protect your hair from damage.
Older women may benefit from keratin treatments to help restore the health and vitality of their hair. As we age, our hair may become thinner, drier, and more prone to breakage. A keratin treatment can help to strengthen and protect the hair, reducing the risk of breakage and split ends. It can also help to add body and volume to the hair, giving it a more youthful appearance.
…
One of the reasons keratin treatments are increasing in popularity worldwide is that DIY home treatments are becoming more affordable than salon treatments. With the pandemic restricting access to salons, more and more women are opting for at-home treatments. These treatments are often more affordable than salon treatments, making it easier for women to achieve salon-quality hair at home.
…
However, it is important to note that at-home treatments may not provide the same results as salon treatments. A professional stylist can customize the treatment to meet your specific hair type and needs, ensuring the best possible results. If you choose to do an at-home treatment, be sure to follow the instructions carefully and use a reputable brand.
In conclusion,
Keratin treatments are a solution that can benefit both young and old women. They can help to restore the health and vitality of your hair, improve its strength and elasticity, and add body and volume. With DIY home treatments becoming more affordable than salon treatments, they are increasing in popularity worldwide, especially during the pandemic. Whether you choose to do an at-home treatment or visit a salon, keratin treatments can help you achieve salon-quality hair at any age.

Keratin treatments at a salon can be so expensive these days, as everyone struggles to make ends meet through the world’s energy crisis, following so closely after two years of Covid lockdowns etc. So it looks like home DIY Keratin treatments are a way to go if you really want to improve the ongoing health of your hair.
I did check with one of my nieces, who has very curly hair that frizz’s up so easily after getting caught in the rain. It doesn’t help either that she’s naturally ginger, which she hates, yet I think her bright ginger hair is beautiful, but that’s just me I suppose. My niece dyes, or I should say tries to dye these ginger locks away. Sometimes successfully, and sometimes, when things go wrong, bright green is not a great colour for a forty year old. She started using a Keratin treatment, now I’m not saying that it was this exact brand she used, however it did stabilise her curls and waves, which was great, but also allowed her to dye her hair the way she wanted with no unforeseen colourations, and the blow dryers and straighteners she uses regularly are no longer damaging her hair. So Keratin is certainly the way forward for her continued hair health
